My Golden Globes Best & Worst Dressed

I’m still on a natural high after last night’s Golden Globes!  It’s my fave awards show (even more than the Oscars!) because it honors both television and film in a unique dinner party setting.  I love when someone has  too much champagne and is a little too honest!  I watched all of the red carpet coverage beginning at 5pm EST and did a recap of my best & worst dressed on FOX43 this morning.  Here were my picks!

*Claire Danes was one of the first arrivals and she gave good back in J. Mendel!  The front of the dress didn’t disappoint either with a black and white contrast.

*Sofia Vergara nailed it in blue Vera Wang.  Often she misses the mark with her proportions, but this was as good as it gets.  Look at that mermaid skirt!

*Angelina was a stunner in Versace!  This was a departure from her usual billowy-topped gowns, nude makeup and hair left down.  Such a surprise I gasped in excitement (alone, in my living room!)

Here were the ladies who did it wrong…oh-so-wrong…

*Zooey Deschanel, you’re quirky and we love it.  But this was so wrong.  The Prada dress was bad, the hair with sideburns was even worse and the tuxedo manicure on each and every finger was the absolute worst.

*Michelle Williams continues her one woman mission to look 65 years old in this Jason Wu blue velvet number (long sleeves?), with non-matching black headband.

*Dianna Agron boasted about her laser-cut swans on the bodice of her dress but I find them fugly.  This Giles Deacon number needs to go back where it came from!
