What Happened With TomKat?

From jumping on a couch to divorce…what happened to Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ romance?  Whatever theory you subscribe to, (Scientology broke them up, it was all for show, etc.), don’t you feel happy for Katie Holmes?  It seemed to me like she was overly sheltered and looked trapped a lot of times.  Her career was also in the pits most of the time they were married.  I hope she’s getting some fresh air; seems like she is, since she surfaced in New York today, minus her wedding ring!
