Welcome to Meggywood, a blog dedicated to all things pop culture.  If you ask anyone who knows me what my dream job is, they’ll tell you that I’ve always wanted to be an on-air personality for an entertainment news show.  Since I’m not (yet), I’m going to do the next best thing – create my own brand of entertainment news!  As a pop culture junkie with a resume that includes entertainment reporter, I’m here to bring you my own spin on celebs, television and movies, fashion and trends, and interviews with people that fellow pop culture junkies will love!  I’m also the TV & Movies Editor over at Positively Celebrity, so I’ll be sure to have all the latest in the entertainment world!

Megan

Megan is a freelance television host who has been seen on QVC, iVillage and PopSugar.  She is a pop culture junkie and makes appearances on TV  and radio as an expert in the celebrity realm, dishing the latest news and dissecting red carpet trends. Megan is the TV & Movies Editor and red carpet reporter for online celebrity magazine Positively Celebrity; she also represents fashion accessories as an on-air guest at QVC, reaching 100 million homes in the United States.

Megan has enjoyed a well-rounded career in television with experience in reporting, hosting, producing, writing and editing. She has been seen as a host and station personality on The CW Philly 57, and was an entertainment reporter at NBC 10 in Philadelphia where she received a regional Emmy nomination for her work. Megan naturally transitioned from reporting on the entertainment industry to being a part of it, and got an incredible insider’s look at film making while on set with
A-list stars Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon and Bradley Cooper. It was these experiences that led her to start her pop culture blog,Meggywood.

When Megan isn’t taking in all the latest in the pop culture world, you can find her dabbling in interior decorating, embracing her inner foodie, practicing yoga and playing with her Jack Russel Terrier, Cooper.
